How it works
Mit dem Global Printer Client gehört das Verteilen und Installieren von Druckertreibern der Vergangenheit an. Ihre Drucker stehen einfach bereit, sobald diese in Ihrem Netzwerk erreichbar sind. Der SNMP Client, der auch für die Mercury Managed Print Services die Zähler- und Füllstände der Geräte im Netzwerk erfasst, ermittelt auch die Eigenschaften der Systeme.
Der GPC nutzt diese Informationen um Druckdaten zu erzeugen, die genau auf den gewünschten Drucker angepasst sind. So als wäre der Herstellertreiber verfügbar. Diese Technologie ist Europaweit Patentiert.
Mopria Standard vs. GPC Comparison
